Minsur is controlled by the Breca Group and is one of the world's largest tin producers, operating the San Rafael mine in Puno, Peru. The company also has gold mining operations (Pucamarca) and a tin smelter. It holds a stake in the Minsur Refinería de Metales Torviq operation in Brazil.
