Nexa Resources Peru operates the Cerro Lindo, El Porvenir, and Atacocha zinc-lead-copper mines in Peru, making it one of the country's principal base metals producers. It is a subsidiary of Nexa Resources S.A. (NYSE: NEXA), which is majority-owned by Votorantim Group of Brazil. The Peruvian subsidiary is separately listed on the BVL.
