Luz del Sur is the electricity distribution concessionaire for Lima's southern cone, owned by China Yangtze Power. It distributes electricity to residential, commercial, and industrial customers across its concession area and is one of the largest utilities on the BVL. The company was acquired by Chinese interests from US-based Sempra Energy in 2020.
