Klaipėdos nafta operates Lithuania's strategic liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Klaipėda, which is critical for Baltic energy security and independence from Russian gas. The company also manages oil terminal infrastructure. The LNG terminal, named Independence, was the first floating storage and regasification unit in the EU and a pioneering energy diversification project.
