Baoshan Iron & Steel (Baosteel) is the listed subsidiary of China Baowu Steel Group, the world's largest steelmaker by output, and is one of China's premier manufacturers of high-grade flat steel products used in automotive, appliance, energy pipeline, and construction applications. The parent China Baowu Group was formed through the merger of Baosteel Group and Wuhan Iron and Steel Group. The company's products are widely used by domestic and international automotive manufacturers.
