Hanwha Corporation is the holding company of the Hanwha Group, one of South Korea's largest conglomerates with subsidiaries spanning defense manufacturing, explosives and industrial chemicals, trading, and solar energy (through Hanwha Solutions). The holding company manages group-wide strategy and holds stakes in Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Ocean, Hanwha Life Insurance, and other affiliates. Hanwha has grown significantly through major acquisitions including DSME (now Hanwha Ocean) and Samsung Techwin (now Hanwha Aerospace).
