About the company
SK Hynix is the world's second-largest DRAM memory chip manufacturer and a leading NAND flash producer, and has become the dominant supplier of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips used in AI accelerators. The company overtook Samsung Electronics to become KOSPI's largest listed company by market capitalisation in June 2026. It is a subsidiary of SK Group, one of South Korea's major chaebol conglomerates.
