POSCO Holdings is the holding company of POSCO Group, which operates POSCO — one of the world's largest steelmakers by crude steel output. Beyond steel, POSCO Group is pursuing a major expansion into secondary battery materials, including lithium, nickel, and cathode/anode materials for EV batteries. The holding company structure was adopted in 2022 as part of a strategic transformation toward green materials and the energy transition.
