Formosa Petrochemical is Taiwan's only private sector oil refiner and a major producer of olefins, aromatics, and plastics feedstocks. It operates the Mailiao integrated refinery-petrochemical complex, one of the largest in Asia. The company is a member of the Formosa Plastics Group.
