Avianca is one of the oldest airlines in Latin America, founded in 1919, and Colombia's flag carrier, operating an extensive domestic and international network. After emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2021, the airline restructured its operations and returned to growth. Preference shares trade on the BVC under the ticker PFAVH.
