e& (formerly Emirates Telecommunications Group, Etisalat) is the UAE's largest telecom operator and one of the largest in the Middle East and Africa, operating in over 16 countries. The Abu Dhabi government owns a controlling stake via the Emirates Investment Authority. The group provides mobile, fixed, broadband, and digital services, and holds a stake in UK-listed Vodafone.
