Íslandsbanki is one of Iceland's three systemically important commercial banks, tracing its history to 1884 and restructured in 2008 as the successor to Glitnir. It provides retail banking, corporate banking, mortgage loans, and asset management services. The Icelandic State Treasury holds approximately 42.5% of the bank.
