Meralco is the largest electric power distribution utility in the Philippines, serving Metro Manila and surrounding provinces. It is a publicly listed company affiliated with the Lopez Group and the MVP Group (through Metro Pacific Investments). Meralco distributes electricity to over 7 million customers covering roughly 70% of the national GDP area.
