Mercator was historically the largest retailer in Slovenia and the broader ex-Yugoslav region, but it was delisted from the LJSE following its acquisition by the Croatian Fortenova Group (successor to Agrokor). It continues to operate as a major grocery retail chain across Slovenia and Southeast Europe under private ownership. It is included here for reference as a major Slovenian corporate entity.
