Semirara Mining and Power Corporation is the Philippines' only significant coal mining company and a major power producer. It operates the Semirara coalfield in Antique province and several coal-fired power plants under its subsidiary SEM-Calaca Power Corporation. SCC is a major supplier of domestic coal to Philippine power generators.
