Vodacom Tanzania Plc is the country's largest mobile telecommunications operator by subscribers, providing voice, data, and mobile financial services (M-Pesa). The company is a subsidiary of Vodacom Group, which is in turn majority-owned by Vodafone Group. Vodacom Tanzania was listed on the DSE in 2017 following a government-mandated public offering requirement for foreign telecoms operators.
