How this site's data works

Where the numbers come from, how often they refresh, and what the gates catch.

Sources and cadence

Country macro figures draw on public datasets — the World Bank, the IMF, national statistics offices — compiled with AI-assisted research and a verification pass; every country page states its data year and source list. Company and fund details come from exchanges, issuers, and disclosures. The whole dataset re-researches on the first of each month.

Live elements ride on top: fund quotes come from a market-data feed, and news headlines come from the publishers linked.

The validation gates

Automated research makes mistakes, so the pipeline is gated. Fund entries are validated against live market data before they can reach the database: tickers that do not resolve to a real fund are dropped, funds whose live identity stops matching are withheld from quoting, and verified-defunct funds are labeled Delisted rather than silently kept. If a country's scheduled refresh fails, the previous record is kept and the page is flagged as carried over rather than pretending to be fresh.

None of this makes the data infallible. It makes the failure modes visible — which is the realistic standard for a research dataset.

What this site is not

It is research infrastructure: facts, structured and sourced, with their age on the label. It does not recommend, rank as advice, or provide personalized investment, tax, or immigration guidance. Corrections are welcome via the contact page.
