How to research a market with this site

A repeatable 15-minute workflow from first look to fund selection.

Step 1: the country page

Start at the country page: the macro snapshot (GDP, growth, inflation, market cap, population), the market's classification, its largest listed companies, the funds that reach it, any ADRs, and the local-exchange details. Note the data year and sources line — every figure here is dated and sourced, and the page will say if a scheduled refresh could not update the record.

Step 2: the deep background

The linked country profile carries the reference-grade background — economy, industries, energy, government — drawn from public-domain data. This is where the institutional context lives: what the economy actually runs on, and how concentrated its exports are.

Step 3: compare and interrogate

Put the market against its peers on the compare page, then use Ask the Data for the cross-market questions — fastest growth, largest markets, highest inflation, fee rankings. Each answer is computed live from the same database and links back to the underlying pages.

Step 4: the access decision

Finish on the practical question: how would you actually hold this market? Check the country's fund list and each fund's badge (Delisted, UCITS, Reference only), fee, and scope; check whether ADRs exist; and read the exchange and broker notes if direct access is on the table. If you use an AI assistant for research, the AI Agents page has copy-paste prompts that run this workflow.
