Arcos Dorados is the world's largest McDonald's franchisee by number of restaurants, operating across 20 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, including Argentina. The company is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and listed on the NYSE. It was founded in Buenos Aires following the purchase of McDonald's Latin American operations in 2007.
