Eletrobras is the largest power utility in Latin America by installed capacity and was partially privatised in 2022. The company generates, transmits, and distributes electricity across Brazil, operating a large portfolio of hydroelectric, thermal, wind, and nuclear assets. Following privatisation, the federal government retained a minority stake.
