Enel Generación Perú (formerly Edegel) is one of Peru's largest electricity generators, operating hydroelectric and thermoelectric plants with a combined installed capacity of over 1,600 MW. It is a subsidiary of Enel SpA of Italy. The company sells power to distribution companies and large consumers under regulated and free-market contracts.
