Oman Telecommunications Company, commonly known as Omantel, is the country's incumbent telecom operator and was the first company to list on the Muscat Stock Exchange. It provides fixed-line, broadband, and mobile services domestically and holds a strategic international stake in WorldCall Telecom in Pakistan. Omantel is a significant constituent of the MSCI Oman Index.
