PT Timah is the world's largest integrated tin mining company by production volume and is state-owned through its parent PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (MIND ID). The company operates mining concessions across the Bangka Belitung Islands, which contain some of the world's richest tin deposits. Timah is involved in all stages of the tin value chain from mining to smelting and refining.
