Samruk-Energy is the energy generation subsidiary of Kazakhstan's Samruk-Kazyna sovereign wealth fund, managing a portfolio of coal-fired, hydro, and renewable power plants. It is one of the largest electricity producers in Central Asia. The company has been listed on KASE as part of the People's IPO privatisation programme.
