Volcan is one of Peru's largest polymetallic mining companies, operating silver, zinc, and lead mines in the central Andes, including Cerro de Pasco and Chungar. Glencore holds a majority stake in the company following a 2018 acquisition. Volcan sells concentrates to global smelters.
