Conpet is the national operator of Romania's crude oil and petroleum products pipeline system, transporting crude oil from domestic production fields and import terminals to refineries. The Romanian state is the majority shareholder through the Ministry of Energy. The company operates under regulated tariffs and plays a logistics support role for Romania's downstream oil sector.
