Foreign investors can access NGX-listed equities through licensed dealing member firms registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria. Notable brokers include Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers, CardinalStone Securities, Meristem Stockbrokers, ARM Securities, and Cordros Securities. A Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) account is required to hold and settle Nigerian equities. Non-resident investors may repatriate dividends and capital subject to CBN foreign exchange regulations.
