نظرة عامة على الاقتصاد والصناعة
Guinea-Bissau is one of the world's least developed economies, heavily reliant on agriculture and fishing. Cashew nuts are the dominant export commodity and primary income source for rural households, with the country supplying a significant share of global cashew production. The services sector and food processing industry provide supplementary economic activity, while the government continues to depend on foreign aid and remittances. GDP grew an estimated 4.8% in 2024, supported by the service sector and higher farmgate prices. Political instability, weak institutions, and limited infrastructure remain the primary constraints on economic diversification and private investment.

وصول الوسطاء المحليين
Guinea-Bissau has no domestic stock exchange. As a member of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU/UEMOA), it is served by the regional Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM), headquartered in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, which maintains a national office (Antenne Nationale de Bourse) in Bissau. No Guinea-Bissau-domiciled company is currently listed on the BRVM. International retail investors wishing BRVM exposure typically access it via regulated West African brokers (Sociétés de Gestion et d'Intermédiation, SGIs) licensed by the CREPMF. As of historical record, no SGI was registered in Guinea-Bissau itself. Access for non-resident investors is limited and operationally complex.
